The "Mars Consortium" Concept

This is a concept, an idea that we are promoting and aiming to Facilitate through online communications, one to one discussions and conferences -- the idea of funding a Mars mission through an international consortium of private and government sources. Such an endeavor is too large to be managed by any single organization, and will require a commitment by many thousands of people around the world. The consortium concept aims to answer the question for the private sector- How can they be involved in a humans to Mars program yet still make a profit?
